Scientific research and development have always been key to our long term goals. Recently, we completed the Conway Research Centre in Santa Barbara, California. This exceptional new facility significantly expands our ability to commit resources to new product development and the exploration of new technologies. Over the last five years, we have invested very heavily in the pre-clinical and clinical studies needed to bring new products to market.

In 2002, we completed a new plant in Leiden, The Netherlands. At 6000 square meters, it is the largest of its kind in the world. This plant contains the only automated dipping machine in the world, which produces every implant shell in a precisely uniform manner. To meet an ever-increasing demand for our products, the new plant produces more than 150,000 breast implants a year, distributed throughout 75 nations. It is also important to note that we are the only breast implant manufacturer to conduct all product production and testing in the U.S. or EU.
