Our saline-filled breast implants are filled with a saltwater solution similar to the fluid that makes up most of the human body. Each breast implant has a self-sealing valve used to fill the device during surgery. Contour Profile^® Breast Tissue Expanders

Contour Profile Tissue Expanders are designed for use in two-stage breast reconstruction. As the tissue expander fills, the tissues over the expander begin to stretch, similar to the gradual expansion of a woman’s abdomen during pregnancy. The tissue expander creates a new breast-shaped pocket for a breast implant. Mentor's line of Contour Profile Tissue Expanders feature a Low, Medium, and Tall height to help better fit to your individual body type.
