Introducing Puragen™.
Smooth. Even. Enduring.
For deep to moderate lines
and highly mobile facial areas.
Puragen’s uniquely modified hyaluronic acid (HA) molecules are a small particle, tight-mesh gel network that responds to special needs of dynamic areas while resisting migration and degradation.

The small particle formula with exceptional durability.
Puragen begins with the ideal aspects of a small particle filler:
- increased versatility
- lower extrusion force
- smoother contours
but is cross-linked in a proprietary way which creates extended particle durability:
- degradation resistant
- migration resistant
- double bonded with DXL technology
DXL™ technology complements the classic single cross
linking between ether bonds in hyaluronic molecules with
an additional bond. This additional ester bond, which is
unique among all HA formulas, creates a tightly knit network
with significant benefits.
DXL™ Gives Puragen New Advantages.
Puragen has a higher resistance than other available hyaluronic acids against the body’s natural tendency to breakdown a foreign substance.
- A consistent, narrow distribution of particles (around 200 μm) eliminates very large and very small particles, resulting in smooth flow through the syringe and a major reduction in the free HA required by other fillers for lubrication.
- Puragen has the lowest incidence of free HA found in any major filler (6% versus other fillers that contain up to 20%).
- Free HA does not contribute to clinical effectiveness and is absorbed by the body witin 72 hours post injection.
- Most HA fillers lose up to 20% volume in the first two weeks. Puragen loses a mere 6%.
